Curtis McKinley Goad

Curtis McKinley Goad of Bradford, Arkansas passed away Saturday. Lovingly known by his friends as C.M., McKinley, Kinley, or Kin. Mr. Goad served as Mayor of Bradford nearly 24 years, serving 1971-1994. Preceding him in death are his parents; one daughter, Dena Kay Tobleman; sister, Ernestine Herring; and brothers, Doyle and Malcolm Goad. Survivors include one son, Kenny Goad of Bradford; one daughter, Karla Franks (Will) of Lumberton, Texas; one grandson, Trace Tobleman of Vidor, Texas; two sisters, Mary Lou Herring and husband, Walter, and Emma Sue Herning; step-daughters, Regina Seyler of Bradford, and Michelle Kirby of Midlothiam, Virginia; and step-son, Jim Winningham of Bradford. Also surviving is someone very special to him, Betty Goad; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
