Kathie Barr Henderson

Kathie Barr Henderson, age 74, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born to the late Lois Watkins Barr and Fred E. Barr on June 16, 1944. She is survived by sisters, Judith Rosenthal, Hot Springs Village, Ark., Nita Turner( Leslie), Lexa, Ark., Lynda Langford, Little Rock and brother, Jesse Barr (Jane), Winslow, Ark.; two daughters, Anna (George) Alford and Karen (Kenny) Cook of South Carolina, five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janette Neff and brothers, John Barr and Joel Barr. Kathie graduated from Barton High School and Arkansas State University. She was first a school teacher and later worked for Digital in New Hampshire from which she retired. Kathie lived in South Carolina before moving to Arkansas. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the First Methodist Church, 723 Center Street, Little Rock at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
