Donald D Sieger

Donald D. Sieger, age 91, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died January 11, 2019 in Fayetteville after a lengthy illness. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota to Vivian and Emma Bergman Sieger. He graduated from Denfield High School and University of Minnesota where he was named All-American in hockey. He also attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. In his early teaching career, he was a member of the Department of Sociology at Georgia State. He retired from the Department of Sociology at the University of Arkansas where he was recognized as an Outstanding Teacher of the Year. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Sieger. There will be no services and burial of ashes will be in Duluth, Minnesota. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
