Gloria Dean Brooks

Gloria Dean Brooks 62, Little Rock, Ar. Departed life on January 20, 2019. She Attended school in Star City, Ark. She was Employed Several years as an environmental services worker, her last place of employment was Brairwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she worked for seven years. One of her many roles in the community was fostering many children and grandchildren, earning the name granny. She was a faithful member of St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church where she serviced on the user board. Gloria volunteered where ever she was needed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lettie and Otis Singleton, one sister, Christina Brooks, one daughter, Tersea Iverson and a grandson, Cordaro Da'mon Houston. She leaves to cherish her Memories husband Charles Houston, her children Marcus Iverson, Charlman Houston (Reginald), Carlos Houston (Desha). Her Siblings Shirley Singleton, Eurbert Brooks (Ava), Rebecca Brooks, Willie Brooks (Renee), Angela Brooks, Nathaniel Brooks, Jimmy Brooks, Darren Brooks, Steven Brooks, Helen Wofford, seven grandchildren and host uncles, aunts, cousin nieces, nephews and friends. Family Hour: Friday, 6:15-7:15 pm at Robinson Mortuary.
