Patsy Ruth Hobgood

Patsy Ruth Hobgood, 88, of Hot Springs, surrounded by her family, went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2019. She was born March 3, 1930, in Springer, Oklahoma, to James and Della Gravitt. Patsy was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church. She retired from the Garland County Library as a bookkeeper. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard L. Oliver, Marvin Easley, and Troy Hobgood; brothers, James Gravitt, C.J. Gravitt; several half-brothers; and one half-sister. Survivors include her daughter, Jeannie Thurman of Little Rock; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Nicky Oliver of Georgetown, Texas, Jim and Cheryl Oliver of Troutdale, Oregon, John and Christi Oliver of Little Rock; grandchildren, Chris Thurman, Staci Rotton, Amanda Lombard, Nick Oliver, James Oliver, Anna Claire Oliver; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Haney, Christopher Thurman, Kristina Lombard, Annika Lombard, Conner Lombard, Zoe Rotton, Cash Oliver; great-great-grandchildren, Hattie Haney, Lucille Haney; nephew and wife, James and Patty Gravitt of Fort Townson, Oklahoma. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Pallbearers include Richard Oliver, Jim Oliver, John Oliver, James Oliver, Chris Thurman, and Christopher Thurman. Memorials in Patsy's honor may be made to Hot Springs Baptist Church.
