John L. Moore

John L. Moore, 82, of Success passed away on January 22, 2019. He was a retired farmer, he proudly served in the US National Guard and was a member of Corning Masonic Lodge. He was also past Chairman of the Clay County Democratic Party. On October 15, 1959, he married Carolyn (Ennis) Moore, she survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Lisa (Joe) Jett of Success and Mona Tullos of Paragould; brother, Paul (Dena) Moore of Corning; sisters, Donna Ermert of Mountain Home and Alma Massey of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Andy (Blayne) Jett, Logan (Molly) Jett, and Noah Tullos; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Easton, and Mullen Jett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul E. and Mamie (McGraw) Moore. Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service is Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Success First Baptist Church with Rev. Logan McCourtney and Bill Ennis officiating. Burial follows at Hitt Cemetery in Success.
