Betty Jean Gooden Miles

Betty Jean Gooden Miles, 70, of Little Rock, was born December 4, 1948 in England, Arkansas to the late Eligha and Arnetta Gooden. Betty transitioned to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Baptist Hospital, Little Rock. Betty was preceded in death by both parents, and one son, Kieth Miles. She leaves to cherish her memory, One son; Cedric Smith (Yvonne), grandsons Tayvius Smith and Marquis Sion-Milligan; and one granddaughter Tajai Sion-Milligan; daughter Shynnon Brown a host of siblings, nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. She was a long time member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the St. Mark Community Church, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Viewing will be from 10–11 a.m., service at 11 a.m. Services entrusted to Colonial Southern Services Grand Oak Chapel, 220 Jacuzzi Ln., Lonoke, Arkansas 72086.
