On January 22, 2019, we lost a wonderful man, one whose kindness and strength has been the backbone of his family. Calvin Bernard Moore, 79, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was a 1957 graduate of Little Rock Central High School and earned a football scholarship to University of Arkansas, ultimately graduating from Arkansas Tech. After college, he served as an Army Airborne Paratrooper for four years before embarking on a 30-year highly rewarding and successful career in human resources with DuPont/Conoco which enabled extensive travel around the world. He came back home to retire in Hot Springs with his wife of 46 years, Ellen Hawbecker Moore who passed away in 2005. Calvin is survived by his partner in love, Gail Bosson Baum, daughter, Terri Moore and her wife Danette Johnson from Atlanta, son, Mike Moore and his wife Susan and granddaughters, Caitlin and Sarah Moore from Ft. Worth. Along with Gail came a large family who were blessed to have had Cal in their lives. His family in love is Renee' Sutherland, Betsy and her husband Don Evans, Dan and his wife Terri Baum, Kevin and his wife Gwen Baum, and Jeb and wife Mary Baum along with all their children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Garland County, P.O. Box 1484, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71902. Calvin will be greatly missed but we all know his love will continue to surround us. Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
