Robert Davis Sr.

ROBERT DAVIS SR., 83, of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born February 14, 1935 to the late Yomer and Oller Mae Davis. He was a member of Apostolic Church in North Little Rock and retired from ABF Trucking Company after 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Margie Box Davis; sons, Robert "Bobby" Davis, Jr. (Nancy) and Bradley Davis (Pamela Campbell); daughters, Gina Davis, Pam Davis, and Tammy Davis; brother, Tony Davis (Betty); three grandchildren, Nicole Davis, Adam Davis and Hannah Davis; special grandchildren: Morgan and Lucas Golde; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, Kennedhi Sioux. He was preceded in death by his son, Brent Allen Davis; and siblings: Vernon Davis, Richard Davis, Macel Posey and Toby Davis. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2019 with a visitation prior to service at 1:00 p.m., at Apostolic Church. Burial will be in Gravel Ridge Cemetery.
