Glenn Richard (Dick) Breese

Glenn Richard (Dick) Breese the only child of Glenn Isaac Breese and Beverly Charlotte Jennings Breese was born in Ottawa, Ohio on September 19, 1930 went to meet his maker on January 27, 2019. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband. Dick was a carpenter by trade. He worked with Bechtel Corporation and Fluor Daniels as superintendent of manual labor in nuclear power. Upon retirement, he went to work for Arkansas State Parks at Lake Dardenelle in Russellville, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Charlotte Breese, his wife, Esther Fritz Breese, two sons, Michael Richard and Dick Allen, a granddaughter, Dawn Gunter and his beloved dog Rascal. He is survived by two daughters, Beverly D. Gunter of Fayetteville and Glenna C. Howell of Dover; two granddaughters, Kim Smootz of Fayetteville and Kara Hendrick (Michael) of Morrilton; one grandson, Glenn A. Franklin (Stephanie) of Bella Vista; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Patty Blair of Hillsdale, Michigan. He was a member of the Dover United Methodist Church and a 32nd degree Mason at the Masonic Lodge in Homestead, Florida. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing as well was an avid gardener. There will be no formal services. Cremation is under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
