Julia M Smith

Julia M. Smith, 84 of Bentonville passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her home. She was born June 4, 1934 in Hindsville, Arkansas to Napoleon and Bonnie Morris Vaughn. Julia was a homemaker. She was best known for her cooking, baking and canning, as well as being a loving mother, grandmother and wife. Her world revolved around her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Smith, her parents, one daughter, Patricia Ann Smith, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Smith of Bentonville and Billy Ray Smith and wife Mary of Lowell; one daughter, Betty Fagan of Parkville, Missouri; one sister, Mary Abel of Independence, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, thirty seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lynn Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Morriss Cemetery in Hindsville.
