Dolores Nell Matthews

Dolores Nell Matthews, 77, of Little Rock went to live with her heavenly father on January 28, 2019. She was born on June 26, 1941 in Holtville, California to William and Laura Watson. Dolores grew up in Buckville, Arkansas then later moved to Little Rock. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Her passions were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, music, dancing and of course Elvis Presley. Dolores was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had compassion for helping others with her excellent nursing skills at the VA Hospital in Little Rock where she worked until her retirement in 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister; Shirley Ann McGill, two brothers; Raymon "Bozo" Watson, Bill Watson and son-in-law; David Alan Potter. She is survived by three children; Kathryn Potter, Johnnie Kelley, Jr. (Belinda), Nelson Kelley, brother; Doug Watson (Myra), six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dolores name to Arkansas Childrens Hospital, 1 Childrens Way, Little Rock. Visitation will be held 10 am, Thursday, January 31, 2018 in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway.
