Rita Joyce Lively

Rita Joyce Lively, age 75, of Maumelle, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on June 9, 1943, in London, Arkansas. She graduated from Russellville High School, but lived most of her adult life in Bryant, where she worked for Waste Management. She loved coming back to visit family and friends in Russellville and London and will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew and Clevie Malone; her mother, Sybil Malone; and her husband of 31 years, George Lively. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Amy Lively of Maumelle; and two grandsons, Justin and Aiden Lively of Maumelle. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Don Stiles officiating. Burial will be in May Cemetery near Houston, Arkansas, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
