Shirley Beal Burks

Shirley Beal Burks, 82, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019. She was born June 28th, 1936 in Lynch, Kentucky to Arnold and Lucy Perry. Shirley grew up in Lynch and married her childhood sweetheart, Bud Beal and raised a family. They had a fun-filled life of traveling and boating until Bud's death. She was fortunate enough to meet and marry Clyde Burks in 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde (Bud) Beal, 2001 and Clyde Burks, 2009. She is survived by her two sisters, Betty Piasecki and Louise Bowman, children, Tammy Beal Thurow (Tom), Bella Vista Arkansas, Micki Beal Fielder, Clarksville TN and Jay Beal (Tami), Shelbyville, Tenn., three stepchildren, six grandchildren, Joshua Thurow, Sydney Thomas, Rachael Forsythe, Mia Fielder, Amber Leverette and Jarred Jones, 9 step-grandchildren, seveb great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be at 1 p.m., February 1st at St Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Dr., Bella Vista, Arkansas where Shirley was a member of the church and Daughters of the King. Her entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Nashville, Tenn. Memorials may be made to St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, Bella Vista or Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
