Lisa Jo Gerhardt

Lisa Jo Gerhardt was born November 6, 1953, in Camden, Ark., the daughter of Roy Edward Ledbetter and Wanda N. Ledbetter. She passed away peacefully June 28, 2019, with her devoted son Jacob by her side She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Jacob Gerhardt, her two grandsons John Patrick "Jack" and Christopher Bryant Gerhardt of Vestavia, Ala., her father Roy Edward Ledbetter, and her brother Sam Ledbetter of Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda N. Ledbetter. She was born and raised in Camden, Ark., attended Camden schools where she actively cheered on the Camden Panthers and graduated with the Class of 1972. After graduation, she pursued her education and received her Bachelor's Science in Nursing. During her career, she was a caring nurse and devoted counselor to many. Lisa was a free spirit from an early age who loved hard and was a true and loyal friend. She had many friends over the years and never met a stranger. She recently reconnected with many she held close to her heart, and this was of great joy to her. She loved many pet companions over the years, but the favorites were Chassie and Stoney. Lisa will be remembered for her beauty, her infectious smile, and her genuine love for all people. The family would like to thank her friends and everyone for all the love and support while she fought this final battle. Memorials can be made to a favorite charity.
