Nathan Udell Morey's funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Centerton with Pastor Joshua Babbs and the Rev. Stephen Belt officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Bentonville Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Nathan Udell Morey, 83, of Centerton, Ark., passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Centerton. He was born January 20, 1936 in St. Joseph, Mo., to George Harris Morey and Genevia Cook Morey. He proudly served in the United States Army for six years. He was the owner of Nate's Body Shop of Rogers in the late 1980's and he was a ranch manager for Tom and Cynthia Coughlin for almost 10 years. He was a member of the Stewartsville, Missouri Lions Club. Nathan was a faithful customer of the Centerton Inn Breakfast Club in Centerton. Nathan was a faithful husband, loving and protective father and grandfather. He was a man of integrity and led by example. He taught his family to respect the Morey name and hold it to a higher standard. Family always came first. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kenneth Lee Morey and brothers, Steve Morey and George Morey, II. Nathan is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlott; four children, Debby Wieneke and husband, Richard of Centerton, Kevin Morey and wife, Kim of Bentonville, Ark., Jim Morey and wife, Kristi of Bella Vista, Ark., Bob Morey and wife, Amber of Bentonville; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Cross of St. Joseph, Mo.; two brothers, Tommy Morey and wife, Annette of Gravette, Ark., and Dennis Morey and wife, Margaret of Iowa.
