Paul M. McGinty Sr., 86, of Greenbrier passed into the presence of God on June 29, 2019. He was born May 18, 1933, in McGintytown, Ark., to the late Joseph Frances (Freeman) McGinty. Paul was a loving father, grandpa and Poppey. He retired as a welder from the U.S. Air Force after serving 20 years. Paul is known for his sharp mind and memory of the "good ole days". He could sit for hours telling stories so vivid they made you feel like you were there. After he retired his favorite thing to do was travel out west each year visiting places and reminiscing where he had previously lived and the cowboy lifestyle. Paul loved to raise horses and always enjoyed all of God's nature. He looked forward to visiting with his buddies each Friday at the Conway VFW. Always feeling like he had been blessed to live the life he lived he always said, "I get up each morning and the first thing I do is Thank God for another day". He was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Lynette Goss; sisters, Bronnie McGinty Cardin and Freda McGinty Popp; brothers, Ralph McGinty, Mark McGinty, Loyd McGinty and Bach McGinty. Paul is survived by son, Paul (P.J.) McGinty Jr.; daughter, Della McGinty (Curtis) Burrow both of Greenbrier; ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at McGintytown Cemetery. Online Guestbook available at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/greenbrier
