James Pettus Jr. III

James Pettus, Jr. III, 40, of Garland, Texas, departed this life June 24. He is preceded in death by: his father: SGT James Pettus, Jr. II. James held a B.A Degree in Health Sciences and a M.A in Educational Leadership. He dedicated his life to inspiring others and youth mentorship. He also was a member of the Pi Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi. "Defeat will never be my creed" James, III. He leaves to cherish his memory: children: Ezekiel Pettus, Lazareous Pettus, Elijah Pettus, and Preston Pettus; mother: Ida Pettus; siblings: Reginald Butler, Barron Nelson, Tiffany Pettus, Tanisha Pettus, Brian Pettus, Jason Pettus and Terrilyn Pettus- Jones and a host of other family and friends.
