William "Bill" Lindsey

William Ernest "Bill" Lindsey, age 67, of Augusta, died Saturday, June 29, 2019, in Little Rock. He was born July 29, 1951, in Searcy, Ark., to William Hoyle Lindsey and Ima Jean Cole Lindsey. He was a farmer, avid outdoorsman and a member of Gregory Baptist Church. He is survived by his fiancée, Sarah Weatherly; son, Lance Lindsey and wife Marilyn of Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughter Megan Perretta and husband Frank of Yelm, Wash.; grandchildren, Reghan, Reese, Liam Perretta of Yelm, Easton, Emmalyn Lindsey of Oklahoma City; siblings, Vicki Lindsey of Augusta, Johnny Lindsey of Wynne, Anne Lindsey of Augusta; and mother Ima Jean Lindsey of Augusta. He is preceded in death by his father, Hoyle Lindsey. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 5, 2019, at Gregory Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Bill was an advocate for organ donation and hopes everyone will consider becoming an organ donor.
