Lila Jean Phillips

Lila Jean Phillips, 79, of Springdale, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born November 8, 1939, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Vernon and Mable Miller Rodgers. Lila was a homemaker who loved camping, garage sales, reading and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, Roy Dalton Phillips; her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bill Evans; one great-granddaughter, Alexia Mae Evans; three brothers, Howard, Ralph and Carl Dean Rodgers. Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Anne Garner and husband Woody of Lowell; one sister-in-law, Sarah Eula Dean Owen of Lowell; one sister, Linda Ferguson and husband Lee of Goshen; grandsons, Roy David Phillips of Springdale, Jason Evan sand wife Megan and Richard Evans of Farmington; one step-granddaughter, Kathy Evans; one great-granddaughter and three great-grandsons; one step-grandson, Brett Garner; one step-granddaughter, Amanda Maclaren; one step-great-grandson; two step-great granddaughters all of Perth, Australia and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, July 5, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Clark Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Kingston Cemetery.
