Verlon Geneva (Bond) Faulkner was born to George Franklin and Sarah Lee Moore Bond on July 16, 1926, in Oppelo, Ark. She went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019. She raised her family in the country near Wright, Ark., where she worked very hard on the farm. When they moved to England, she worked at the England Shoe Factory until she retired. For her entire adult life, she cooked a full meal every Sunday for the entire family which included any friends and family who tagged along. She's one of the strongest women we've ever known. She lost her mother at a young age and raised many children during her life...her siblings, some of her nieces & nephews, and five of her own children. And she loved them all very deeply. She was affectionately known to friends and family as Mama Bea. She was a loving mother, sister, and Granny. Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny H. Faulkner, with whom she was married for forty-nine years. She was also preceded in death by an infant baby girl. She is survived by her 5 children: Johnny V. (Pam) Faulkner, Pat (Larry) Livingston, Kay (the late Cleo "Babe") Watson, Rod Faulkner and Karen (Billy Wayne) Henry all of England, Ark. Also left to cherish her memory are 5 grandchildren: Leslie (Jason) Triplett, Stacy (Kyle) Jeans, Bryan (Belinda) Livingston, Chris Watson, and Brandi (Bobby Joe) Turner, also all of England, Ark., and 9 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, and watching the birds. Everyone was welcome at her house, but she loved to be with her family most of all. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Graveside services will be Friday, July 5, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Mulberry Cemetery. The family requests memorials be made to: County Line Missionary Baptist Church, P. O. Box 311, England, Ark., 72046, or a charity of your choice.
