Wanda Fae Mitchell

Wanda Fae Mitchell, 92, of Kingsland died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Salem Place Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Conway. She was born July 16, 1926 in Kingsland, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Morgan and Annie Estes Morgan; husband, Joe Richard Mitchell; and five brothers, Vesta, Wylie, Huey, Duey and Doyle Morgan. She was homemaker and former employee of Fordyce Picture Frame and a member of Smith Chapel Church of God. She is survived by two sons, Joe D. (Esther) Mitchell of Conway, and Bruce (Lynette) Mitchell of Rison; four grandchildren, Esther (Scott) Schultz of Conway, Raymond (Mika) Santis of Hensley, Brian (Becca) Mitchell of Greenbrier, and Erik (Lexie) Mitchell of Little Rock; and six great grandchildren, Madeline, Emma, Havana, Sofia, Cole, and Mason. Memorials may be made to Smith-Morgan Cemetery Association 1400 Hwy 8 Kingsland, Ark. 71652. The family would like to give a very special thank you to Salem Place Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and Superior Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, both of Conway, for the exceptional love and care that was given. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Matthews officiating.
