Retha Marlene Hafer

Retha Marlene Hafer, age 62, of Helena, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was born on October 21, 1956, in Springdale, Ark., the daughter of James and Margaret (Mayes) Napier. Retha was united in marriage on March 15, 2002, to Earl P. Hafer. She was employed for many years in the Helena, Ark., area as a real estate agent. She is survived by her husband, Earl Hafer of Helena, Ark.; her children, Jama (Bradford) Engel of Hinckley, Ill., and Brian Winnike of Illinois; her stepchildren, Lisa (Blake) Robbins of Helena, Ark., and David Paul (Amy) Hafer of Hot Springs, Ark.; her grandchildren, Lauren and William Engel of Hinckley, Ill.; her step-grandchildren, Pearson and Evy Hafer and Carson, Jeremiah, Bogan, and Tri Robbins; her brothers, Carlos (Lucy) Napier and Randy Napier both of Huntsville, Ark.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
