Robert Sharum

Robert "Rob" Sharum, 72, of Fort Smith, Ark., died on July 4, 2019 in a Fayetteville hospital. He was born on March 20, 1947 in Fayetteville, Ark., to Robert A. and Patricia Sharum. Rob was the retired owner of Group Insurance Consultants, Sharum Insurance Agency, First Client Services, Pension Plan Administration, LLC, a former member of the Jaycees and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. The rosary is 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 8th at Christ the King Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Janie of the home; a daughter and stepdaughter, Charlotte Moore and her husband Rodney of Little Rock and Caroline Murphy and her husband Corey of Kansas City, Mo., sons and stepson, Robert Sharum and his wife Debbie of Midland, Texas and Randy Sharum and his wife Ann of Sugar Land, Texas and Shawn Johnson of Little Rock, Ark., a sister, Ann Hopkins and her husband Glen of Van Buren, Ark., two brothers, Curtis Sharum and his wife Christy of Salado, Texas and Wayne Sharum and his wife Sally of Houston, Texas and nine grandchildren.
