Martha Elizabeth Kyzer Tubbs

Martha Elizabeth Kyzer Tubbs, 87, of McGehee, Ark., passed away July 6, 2019 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Ark. Elizabeth was born January 8, 1932 in Lake Village, Ark., to the late Gladys Mae Lawson and Floyd Edward Kyzer. She was employed with Wells Lamont Glove Factory until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in McGehee. She loved her church and enjoyed painting and spending time with her friends and family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar E. Tubbs, her step-father, James Conrad, her brother, Thomas Edward Kyzer, and a son, Edward Lamar "Biggun" Tubbs. Survivors include one daughter, Sue Tubbs Pambianchi (Lawrence) of McGehee, two sons: Earnest Larry Tubbs (Peggy) of Bellaire and Lemuel Eugene Tubbs (Holly) of Little Rock, and one brother, Ernest Doyle Kyzer of Naples, Texas, and Jane Tubbs, her daughter-in-law of McGehee. Grandchildren are Shane Smith (Stephanie) of Little Rock, Laressa Summitt (Jason) of Bellaire, Amanda Montgomery (Heath) of East End, Jason Rana (Tiffani) of Beebe, and Drew Kyzer Tubbs of Little Rock. Great-grandchildren are Payton and Riley Smith of Little Rock, and Baxter and Lyla Ray Summitt of Bellaire, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will be at McGehee Cemetery.
