Verna Ray "Mike" Peterson, 83, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on July 9th, 2019. She was born in Springfield, Arkansas on February 6th, 1936 to parents Sada Ray Butler and James Vernon Butler Sr. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home. A celebration of life will occur the following day, Saturday, July 13th, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home (7401 HWY 5 North, Alexander, Ark., 72002). Mike will be laid to rest next to her husband immediately following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
