Jace Declan Hylton Nikiena Ann Rettig

Nikiena Ann Rettig, 32, and her infant son, Jace Declan Hylton, of Cabot, passed away July 9, 2019 in North Little Rock. Niki was born October 9, 1986 in Little Rock to Thomas Allen and Nancy Williams-Ridgeway. Jace was born July 9, 2019 in North Little Rock to Nikiena Rettig and James Hylton. Niki worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Greystone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was thoughtful and kind to everyone regardless of who they were or how well she knew them. Niki was a great mother and always put her children first. She was also a director for Paparazzi's Show Stopping Accessories. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Rettig in 2016; grandmothers, Joanne Schultz and Lois Allen. Niki is survived by her fiancé, James Hylton; children, Katherine Noel Rettig, Isabella Joy Rettig and Riley Hylton; mother, Nancy Ridgeway (Ray Weaver); father, Thomas Allen; step-father, Bill Ridgeway; siblings, Heather Allen, Daniel Allen and Dana Allen; sister-in-law, Courtney Spangler; mother-in-law, Carla Chandler; grandmother-in-law, Sarah Chandler; nieces and nephews, Heidi Crow, Haysten Sinkey, Kaylee Bowman and Jhawk Spangler; aunts and uncles, Beth and William Christofil, Alice and Rick McCullough and Michele Cervone; her work family at Greystone; a host of cousins and her dog, Mae. Jace was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Terry Bennett. He is survived by his father, James Hylton; sibling, Riley Hylton; maternal grandparents, Nancy Ridgeway (Ray Weaver) and Thomas Allen; paternal grandmother, Catherine Bennett; uncles, Stephen Hylton, Patrick Reynolds and Daniel Allen; aunts, Heather Allen and Dana Allen. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
