Claudia Jo Moore

Claudia Jo Browning Moore was born August 1, 1958 in Denver, Colorado to Joseph Edwin & Claudine Web Browning. Claudia graduated in 1976 from Lakewood High School & attended Sheridan College School of Dental Hygiene in Sheridan, Wyoming. In 1978, following college graduation, Claudia moved to Denver to start her career in dental services. She met her future husband, Gary Moore, in 1982. They were married in 1983 in Lakewood, Colorado. The next 18 years resulted in several moves as Gary served our country in the U. S. Air Force sending them to Dayton, Ohio, Colorado Springs, Colorado & Albuquerque, New Mexico. When Gary exited the Air Force, they lived in Ft. Collins, Colorado for almost 5 years. They relocated in the Little Rock, Arkansas area in 2001 where Gary was employed by AFMC/UAMS & Claudia found her long-term position with Austin Family Dentistry where she was employed until her cancer journey made it impossible for her to work any longer. Claudia enjoyed music & sang in her church choir wherever she lived. Church & choir led her to develop new friendships wherever she lived. She was always a very dedicated & loyal employee & was often given commendation for her efforts. Claudia loved hummingbirds & was often seen wearing jewelry or clothing with a hummingbird theme. She cherished the time she was able to spend visiting her parents as well as family gatherings for her family and Gary's family. Of course, her favorite pastime was being with the love of her life, Gary. Claudia is survived by her husband, Gary Moore (Mayflower, Arkansas), her mother, Claudine Browning (Arvada, Colorado), cherished cousins, in-laws, nephews, & nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Jospeh E. Browning. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, 7/13/19, 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Maumelle, Maumelle, Arkansas.
