MICHAEL KEVIN WINTZ, 61, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. He was born September 2, 1957 in Atchison, Kan., to the late John H. and Naomi L. Henson Wintz. Mr. Wintz enjoyed woodworking, caring for his pets, and collecting sports memorabilia, especially from the NFL. He was the Kansas City Chiefs number one fan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Wintz; brother, Jerry Wintz; sister-in-law, Sherry Wintz; niece, Jolene Wintz and nephew, Robert Jones. Survivors include brothers, Bill Wintz of Jacksonville, Randy (Barbara) Wintz of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; nieces and nephews, Danny (Amy) Wintz of Lonoke, Rodney (Melissa) Wintz of Jacksonville, Chad (Jennifer) Wintz of Jacksonville and Dana Jones of Missouri; along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Gary Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
