Leah Denise Purdy

Leah Denise Purdy, age 64, of Bryant, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019. She was born April 8, 1955, in New Orleans, La. Leah was a RN and retired as a case manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church. Leah was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Joseph Oberle, Jr. and Geraldine Rogers Oberle; her first husband, Henry Earl Casey, Jr.; and a son, Bryan David Casey. She is survived by her husband, Milton Ray Purdy; son, Benjamin Casey; daughter, Amber Casey Luckey (Marc); brother, Joe Oberle (Amy); two sisters, Jerry Bain (Terry) and Lisa Richardson (Brian); two grandchildren, Kia Luckey and Casey Wessel and numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, July 22, at Ashby Funeral home with funeral services beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Smith Rosemont Cemetery.
