Kelly Gene Ashworth

Kelly Gene Ashworth, 55, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born December 26, 1963 in Fayetteville to Billy Gene and Joy Sue Jordan Ashworth. Kelly worked as a service manager for Springdale Tractor and Walmart Automotive and he restored classic cars at his shop. He was a member of the Northwest Arkansas Corvette Club and the Hawg Country Corvette Club. He enjoyed driving his 1971 Stingray Corvette and traveling with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Michael Morlan. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Rhesa Morlan Ashworth of the home; two children, Jordan Ashworth and Tania Jakobsen of Fayetteville and Olivia Ashworth and James Martin of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Brayden Ashworth, Jayce Martin, Sophia Martin, Talyn Martin and Claire Ashworth; two brothers, Billy Ashworth and wife Dottie of Fayetteville and Todd Ashworth of Fayetteville; one brother-in-law, David Morlan of Fayetteville, his sister-in-law, Cathy Wade of Fayetteville and his mother and father-in-law, Kenneth and Patricia Morlan of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery at UA Beef Farm Road in Fayetteville.
