Annette Purnell, 73, of Cabot, passed away July 21, 2019. She was born September 22, 1945 in Lonoke to the late Henry and Irean Sewell Williams. Annette moved to Cabot in 1976 and was a longtime member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church where she served many years as a Sunday school teacher. She was a hard worker, but also loved playing golf and was a true Elvis Presley fan. Annette was a Christian lady and she loved her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren called her GG. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former spouse, Henry Purnell; daughter, Kimberley Barnes; siblings, Dorothy Justice, James Williams, Marie Gordon, Ellen Ivy, Curtis Williams, Thomas Williams and Cecil Williams and nephew, Brian Henry. Survivors include her son, Tim (Tamara) Purnell; grandchildren, Blake Barnes, Lauren (Wesley) Lowrey and A.J. Purnell; great-grandchildren, Trace and River Lowrey; siblings, Grady Williams, Parilee Martineau, Shirley (David) Morse and Marilyn (Mike) Frank and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Dr. David Mitchell officiating. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
