Donald Lee Lambert

Donald Lee Lambert of Little Rock, son of the late E.L. and Gladys Lambert, born May 4, 1933, in Little Rock, Arkansas passed away July 21, 2019, at the age of 86.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife; Betty Lambert. He is survived by his loving wife; Peggy, his sister; June Tucker, sons; Lee Lambert, Steve Browning, daughter; Wendy O'Bar, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces, and nephews.
Don was a graduate of Mabelvale High School and the University of Arkansas graduating with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He served in the Army for six years and worked with the Niki Guided Missile Defense Project at Selfridge Air Force Base in Detroit, Michigan. He also attended a computer course at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. Don worked at Arkansas Power and Light for 35 years as an electrical engineer. He was a long-term member of Highland Valley Methodist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher for 40 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Don's name to Highland Valley United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway. A Celebration of his life will follow 10 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2019, at Highland Valley United Methodist Church, 15524 Chenal Parkway.
