Elmer Eugene Perry Sr., was born in Springdale, Arkansas on March 7, 1942. He entered Heaven's gates on July 20, 2019.
He was survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosa Marie Welkley Perry, and four children, June Jackson of Canton, Arkansas; Jackie Bishop (Mike) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Jennifer Edwards (Bryan) of San Antonio, Texas; Elmer Perry Jr., (Jodi) of Leicester, North Carolina; his brothers Jack Perry (Mary) of Springdale, Arkansas and Tommy Perry (Irma) of West Fork, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Orville Joe and Lydia Ann Pense Perry, his siblings, Delphia Robinson, Lee Perry, Richard Perry and James Perry.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his life on Friday, July 26, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Northeast Baptist Church, 2578 N. Oakland Zion Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703.
