Robert Wesley Smith, age 70, of Fayetteville died Monday, July 22, 2019 at a local skilled care center. He was born March 5, 1949 in Springdale, the son of Paul S. Smith and Willie Mae Sims. He served in the US Navy.
He enjoyed: Time with his children, fishing, RC hobbies, airplanes and airshows. He retired after many years as a truck driver with Wal-Mart. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area all his life.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Paul S. Smith, Willie Mae Sims and his younger brother, Ronnie Smith. Robert is survived by: his son, Mark Smith, of Fayetteville; his daughter, Megan Smith Williams and her husband Nick Williams, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, brother, Raymond Smith and his wife Clara of Waldron, and granddaughter, Carley Ann Smith.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 Friday, at Howe-Savoy Bible Church, located at: 16174 West Hwy. 16 in Fayetteville, Arkansas 72704.
