Jay Lynne Stuart

Jay Lynne Stuart, age 57, of Ashdown, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 after receiving wonderful loving care from the staff at Hospice of Texarkana. Jay Lynne was born April 5, 1962 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a graduate of Ashdown High School class of 1980. She then attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and later worked in the insurance field prior to her illness. She was also of the Catholic Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Stuart, her grandparents, Brad and "Mamaw" Bill Hinton and Marguerite Warren. Friends and family would describe Jay Lynne as a fun-loving and a very adventurous person who never met a stranger. She was a gifted and talented artist, whether working with oils on a canvas or oils in the kitchen. She enjoyed sharing her talent with those around her. She is survived by her parents, Harold and Carol Warren of Ashdown, Arkansas, two special friends, Dana High of Bossier City, Louisiana and Lisa Cobb of Little Rock, Arkansas, her aunts, Mary Warren of Ashdown, Arkansas, Ann Cobb of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jean Jones of Cabot, Arkansas, and a host of friends and other relatives. A memorial celebration service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas Chapel with Mike Vowell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon. A short reception will follow the memorial service. Jay Lynne's wish was for family and friends to consider organ donation to give someone else a second chance at life.
