William Caldwell Matthews

William Caldwell Matthews, 65, of Fordyce died Saturday July 27, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born April 14, 1954, the son of Phil Matthews of Tulip and the late Geraldine Overton Matthews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Sigal. He is survived by his father, Phil Matthews of Tulip; his wife, Cynthia Diane Reeder Matthews of Fordyce; two sons, Shane Matthews and wife, April of Fordyce, Brett Austin Matthews and wife DeRonna of Crossett; three daughters, Sarah Beth Neugebauer of Fordyce, Alexis Haley Bryant and her husband, John of Fordyce, Brenna Christine Matthews of Fordyce; one brother, Ben Matthews of Washington state; one sister, Phyllis Dailey of Virginia; and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-3 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with a memorial service following at 3p.m. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
