Virginia Joyce Gross Almon

Virginia Joyce Gross Almon, 79, formerly of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 28, 2019. She was a devoted Christian woman whose life's priorities were to serve the Lord and to care for her family. Her selflessness, faithfulness and love will be missed. "Her children rise up, and call her blessed." Psalm 31:28. She is survived by her three children, Brent Almon and wife Carrie of Beebe, Mary Rodgers and husband Tony of Monticello, and Gail Dellorto and husband Dan of Bryant; nine grandsons, Luke Almon, Ladd (Emily), Jared (Hayley), Alex, Caleb and Job Rodgers, Jim (Darian), John and Daniel Dellorto; three great-grandchildren, Warren, Elliott and Rose Mae Rodgers; her loving Gross cousins as well as many beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. Joyce was preceded in death by husband, Warren Odell Almon and her parents, William Carey and Lonnie Jestina Gross. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019, followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Burial will be in Hickory Plains cemetery.
