Mary Ann Sprouse

Mary Ann Sprouse, age 84, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She was born October 7, 1934 in Firth, Nebraska to the late Bernard and Viola Schmilzh Wilhelm. Mrs. Sprouse was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville for over 50 years. She also was a server at Ramada Inn for over 25 years. Mrs. Sprouse was preceded in death by her parents; husband, of 62 years, Rudy Sprouse; son, Terry Sprouse; brothers, Eldon Wilhelm and Neal Wilhelm; and sister, Norma Comstock. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Kenneth) White; daughter-in-law, Carol Sprouse; grandchildren, Randy White, Robby White, Jonathan Sprouse, and Jennifer Sprouse; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Riley, Skylar, Aubrey, Adelynn, and Rachel White, Emma and Maddie Sprouse; and great-great-grandchild, Aiden White. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville with Reverend Nathan Kilbourne officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the funeral home.
