Barbra Nelle Shepherd, 79, Bismarck passed away May 31, 2019 with family by her side. Barbra was born in Beirne, Ark., on October 22, 1939 to the late William Anderson and Rose Elverna (Daniels) Norman. Barbra spent her life being loved and guided by her grandparents Delzo and Annie Norman.
Barbra enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting and gardening, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A member of Bismarck First Baptist Church where she spent nearly 10 years as the church clerk.
Barbra is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one sister, Dixie Rose Glover. Left to share her special memories will be the love of her life, her husband of 63 years Jim Shepherd, one son, Mike Shepherd, and two daughters: Pam (Mike) Ferguson and Caryn Beth Shepherd, all of Bismarck; Barbra's 10 precious grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister Glenda Johnson of Genoa, Ark.; one brother, Bill Norman of Beirne Ark.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 3, 2019 from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to follow at 6:30 p.m. with Brother Evan Smith officiating.
