Gene Gregory

Gene Gregory (Vernon Eugene Gregory Junior) went to his home in heaven on May 14, 2019. He was born on January 17, 1951 to Mildred and Vernon Eugene Gregory Senior in Del Rio, Texas. He married Susan Jean Irvin on June 16, 1979 and moved to Arkansas. In January 2018 he and Susan moved to Jalisco, Mexico. Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Gregory; father, Vernon Gregory, and sister, Sandy Tvrdik. He also had three grandchildren awaiting him in heaven. He is survived by his wife, Susan, by three children, Rebekah G Strickland, her husband, Jason, and granddaughters, Grace and Lainey Strickland, Melissa R Gregory, and John V Gregory all of whom reside in Northwest Arkansas. He is also survived by two sisters, Terry Sewell and Priscilla Gregory. In addition he will be missed by many extended family members and numerous friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Olive Street Campus located at 8th and Olive in Rogers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Vision Building Fund of First Baptist Church Rogers. Gene was truly a man of God always looking forward to the Lord's return. He is no longer looking forward, he is home with his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
