Judy Brooks

Judy Charlotte Holmes Brooks, 64, of Hot Springs, went to the arms of the Lord April 5, 2019 after a long fight with cancer. Born February 18, 1955 at Pine Bluff to Charles and Louise Holmes, she grew up in White Hall, where she was a member of the White Hall United Methodist Church. After high school she worked as an EMT in Pine Bluff, the Pine Bluff Police Department, the El Dorado Police Department, and the Arkansas State Police at Hot Springs. Judy is survived by her husband, Jerry Brooks of Hot Springs; two daughters: Erin Brooks of Hot Springs; Heather Novascone (Jason), a granddaughter, Brielle, of Wichita, Kan.; her father and mother, Charles Holmes and Louise Holmes; and a brother, Alan Holmes, all of Little Rock. Memorial Services will be held at White Hall United Methodist Church, White Hall, Ark., on June 8, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with the Rev. David Hoffman and Rev. Alan Crum officiating. Interment to follow in the White Hall United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the White Hall United Methodist Church, 301 Church Dr., White Hall, Ark. 71602.
