Hildegarde (Wilmans) Graham

Hildegarde (Wilmans) Graham, 83, of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, June 1, 2019. She was born June 19, 1935 in Newport, the daughter of R.D. "Dorsey", Jr., and Hildegarde (McCuistion) Wilmans. On April 28, 1955, Miss Hildegarde Wilmans married Mr. Stephen Jeraud Graham, and together they enjoyed 49½ years. Mrs. Graham was a homemaker, and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newport. She was an avid reader, who was a fan of Jeopardy. Mrs. Graham enjoyed watching all sports, especially golf, and was known for being both a Razorback fan and critic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Jeraud Graham; one grandson, Stephen Graham Schulte; and her parents. Mrs. Graham is survived by her son, Stephen Jeraud Graham, Jr., and wife, Pam, of Newport; her daughter, Hildegarde "Gaye" Graham Schulte and husband, Stephen, of Little Rock; three grandchildren, William Brent Schulte, Kevin Michael Schulte, and Stephen Jeraud "Trey" Graham, III; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Schulte, Ryan Schulte, and Anistyn Graham….as well as a great-grandson on the way; two brothers, R.D. Wilmans, III and Rex M. Wilmans, both of Newport; special friends, Dianne and Danny Burgess, and Evon Finney. Graveside services are 2 p.m. Monday at Gracelawn Cemetery, with her brother, Rex Wilmans officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, or the Jackson County Library.
