Carolyn L. Roark, 82, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Monday, June 3, 2019. She was born Tuesday, May 18, 1937 in Portland, Tennessee to the late Jeff and Janie Hinton Davis. Mrs. Roark was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed crocheting, coloring, sewing, cooking, and gardening but found her greatest joy in her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who were privileged to know her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Roark and a sister, Betty Williams. Survivors include her husband of sixty-five years, William Roark; children, Candy (James) Wooldridge, Ralph (Donna) Roark, Lisa (Tim) Rounsaville all of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Tracy Jones, Robbie Roark, Cory Roark, Jarrett Rounsaville, Sarah Rounsaville; great-grandchildren, Tanner Hancock, Will Roark, Josie Roark, Cooper Roark, Riley Roark, Cory Roark Jr. and great-great-grandson, Dravin Hancock. Other survivors include brothers, Laymon Davis (Kathy Robbins) and Kenneth (Pam) Davis of Tennessee; along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Brother Cliff Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
