Suzi Hudgins Park, of Springdale, died suddenly June 4, 2019 while vacationing in Orange Beach, Al. Suzi was born in Little Rock on August 16,1959. She was the youngest child of Dr. Paul T. Hudgins and his wife, Gen. Suzi spent her childhood in Little Rock, and her summers in Searcy with her cousins, later becoming a Registered nurse. Her gentle and compassionate nature was exemplified in her nursing services at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, La., and Baptist Medical Center and Radiology Consultants in Little Rock. At the time of her death she was employed by the Springdale school system as a Pre-K School Nurse. Suzi's world revolved around her family, friends and her Pre-K school children. She had a passion for gardening, cooking and preserving, and a definitive dislike of hot, spicy foods. Suzi loved the outdoors and spending time fishing at the cabin. She always preferred casual gatherings over formality in keeping with her easy-going ways. Suzi is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barbara Hudgins Horner and her father-in-law Joe W. Park. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 26 years, James Marvin Park; sons, James Jonathan, Joseph (Jody) Marvin Park, and Lane Jacob Park; brother, James Hudgins (Carmen) of Whitewright, Texas; sister, Paula Hudgins May (Gene) of Little Rock, mother-in-law, Sarah Wilkes Park (Gmom) of Rogers; and a host of extended family and friends who loved her like a sister. A Springdale service will be 1 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowwood Avenue, Springdale Arkansas. Friends and family are invited to an informal visitation from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019 also at Memorial Funeral Home. A Cabot visitation and brief celebration of life service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Cabot United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 2003 S. Pine St., Cabot, Ark. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Everyone is invited dress casually and cheerfully, as her friends and family know she would appreciate.
