Betty Lou Shockley Goin

Betty Lou Shockley Goin, 92, of Bryant, died on June 7th, 2019. She was born on April 2nd, 1927 to parents Harry Lee and Willie Mae Shockley in Houston, Texas. Betty is preceded in death by her beloved grandson: Brian Goin. She is survived by one son: Walter Goin III, one daughter: Carolyn Goin, four grandchildren: Russell, Patricia, Robert and Gracie Goin, four great-grandchildren: Grant, Luke, Natalie and Kyler Goin, three step-brothers: Joseph "Sonny", Jimmy (Christine), and Timmy Shockley, and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2019 at Pinecrest Funeral Home (7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander) at 12 p.m. with a service immediately following at 1 p.m. Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband, Walter Goin Jr., at Forest Hills Cemetery after the service.
