ELIZABETH "BETTY" HOLMAN, 84, went into the loving arms of Jesus on June 4, 2019. She was a resident of Dacula, GA., at the time of her passing but previously lived in Little Rock for over 70 years. She was born in Adona, Ark., on February 3, 1935, to the late Noah and Vera (Smith) Laws. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, Jackson Holman, for 63 years until his passing in November 2017. She was a strong southern woman who lived her life guided by Christian values. Family was a very important part of her life and she loved holiday gatherings and vacations at the beach surrounded by family. She worked as a secretary at USF&G Insurance, Mutual of New York, Bible Church of Little Rock, and Systemedic. She was active in her church for many years serving as a Bible Study Fellowship leader, the founder of the Golden Agers at Bible Church of Little Rock, a Small Group Leader and mentoring through prison ministry. She attended Fellowship Bible Church for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her grandson, David Christopher Neaves; her brother, George Laws. She is survived by daughters Terri Alpe and Lori Neaves (David); grandchildren: Nathan LeMay, Lauren Rogers (Jonathan), Joshua LeMay, KatieAnne Neaves; two great-grandchildren: Dhani Stevenson and Lillian Spaulding; two nephews: Ken and Charles Holman, and two nieces: Leslie (Laws) Johnson and Tracy (Laws) Montgomery. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m., on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Road in Little Rock, with a service to follow at 10 a.m. Committal will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
