Eva Jean Wood

Eva Jean Wood, age 75, of Bella Vista, Ark., went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2019, in Springdale Arkansas. She was born on July 1, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Lewis and Dorothy (Wilson) Mason. Eva was one of three children. Eva worked for many years in the Human Resources Department at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, AR, and retired in 2005. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Marlin and Edward McKinley "Mac" Mason. She is survived by her husband, Loren of Bella Vista, two sons, Rick Wood of Colorado, and Randall Wood and wife, Mica, of Georgia, and her precious grandchildren, Taylor and Jordan Groom. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 13, at 11:00 a.m. in Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, followed by burial at 2:00 p.m. in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
