Louie D. Livingston, Jr.

LOUIE D. LIVINGSTON, JR., age 93, of North Little Rock, passed away June 6, 2019. He was born November 6, 1925, in Quitman, Ark., to Louie D. Livingston, Sr. and Myrtle Livingston. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 60 years, Willi Dean Livingston, son Louie Gordon Livingston, and brother Densil Livingston. Mr. Livingston was an Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a mason and worked for Arkansas Power and Light (now Entergy) for over 30 years. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Barnard and husband Richard of North Little Rock, three sisters: Hazel Livingston of Ohio, Mildred Priest of Quitman, and Sue Shumate of Greenbrier; five grandchildren: Phillip Livingston of Sheridan, James Chrestman IV of Plano, Texas, Toney Livingston of Bismarck, Ark., Jennifer Sullivan of Sherwood, and Jessica Maldonado of North Little Rock; nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and his parrot "Buddy". Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
