Ronnie Garyle Hawpe

Ronnie Garyle Hawpe, 75, of Bella Vista, passed away on June 6th, 2019 in Rogers, Ark. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday June 9th at Bella Vista Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday June 10th, 2019 at Mt Pleasant Cemetery with Ken Ferguson of Newsong Church of Centerton, officiating. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home. Ronnie was born Chickasha, Oklahoma to Alfred Wilson Hawpe and Elma Elizabeth Hawpe on July 03, 1943. He went to school in Chickasha. He married Sherry Hawpe on September 16th, 1971 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad for 25 years, starting as a laborer and retiring as a Track Inspector. Ronnie was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed camping with his family every summer. He also loved to dance and you could guarantee if a song came on that got him jiggy, he would grab his beloved wife and cut a rug. Ronnie is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, 2 Brothers, a Sister and 2 great grandchildren. Ronnie is survived by his wife Sherry of the home; his children Ronnie Hawpe Jr and wife Doris of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Rhonda Curry of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Rod Park and wife Kim of Bentonville, Ark.; Don Williamson and wife Gladys of Bentonville, Ark.; Gayla Benge and husband Lawrence of Gravette, Ark.; brothers Bill Hawpe of Kansas, Okla.; Jack Hawpe of Lebanon, Tenn. and sister Kandye Higgins of New Orleans, La.; 19 Grandchildren and 26 great-Grandchildren.
